Happy winter holidays!
With the holidays just around the corner, EPALE stays busy as ever finishing off content for the end of the year and making plans for 2016. The adult learning sector has also been working hard to make changes in Europe – expert Simon Broek reflected on developments in the sector in 2015 in his recent blog post (EN).
Great content in December
On 3 December we celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities (CZ, DA, ET, HR, EN, FR, DE, IT, PL, ES, RO, SL, FI, SE). Don’t miss out our interview with Maria Schejbal on her involvement in the project ‘Cultural Vehicles for Education’ (EN). EPALE International Volunteer Day was on 5 December. News from around Europe
In December the adult learning sector remained dynamic as always:
- A thematic day on climate change education took place at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (EN, FR).
- Meanwhile in Sofia, the Bulgarian Minister of Education opened the 2015 National Adult Education Forum, with a special focus on the role of EPALE in the sector (BG).
- Slovenia gave away the national quality awards for the best completed projects in European education and training programmes (SL).
