The « Journal de l’alpha » is a quarterly journal in French which addresses issues related to numeracy and literacy training. This issue focuses on the fact that people who have attended school can also experience a lack of basic skills. It analyses the roots and causes of this situation, and discusses ways to act, both in the classroom and at policy level.
