Erasmus+ offers adults of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to expand their horizons and the chance to learn and thrive through spending learning time abroad. With its commitment to social inclusion, lifelong learning, and European values such as solidarity, equality, and respect for diversity, the programme has had a positive impact on the lives of many participants since 2021. It aims to reach and benefit many more in the years to come. 

The programme enables participants to acquire new skills, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of belonging.

Building on its success, a dedicated handbook has been made available to support organisations in planning and implementing learning periods abroad for adult learners. This new resource will help organisations take the next step in shaping adult education.
