През месеците август и септември тематичният фокус на EPALE беше върху ролята на ученето на възрастни в социалното включване на уязвимите групи. В продължение на този период националните екипи и общността EPALE публикуваха множество вдъхновяващи практики, статии, доклади и ресурси по темата. V avgustu in septembru smo se na EPALE posvečali pomenu izobraževanja odraslih pri socialni vključenosti ranljivih ciljnih skupin. Obiščite našo tematsko stran Socialna vključenost, kjer smo v tem času objavili nekaj primerov dobrih praks, prispevkov, poročil in drugih virov s to tematiko (vsebina je lahko različna glede na jezikovno različico).

W sierpniu i wrześniu na EPALE skupiamy się na roli edukacji dorosłych w integracji społecznej grup szczególnie wrażliwych. W tym czasie Krajowe Biura i społeczność EPALE opublikują wiele inspirujących studiów przypadków, artykułów, raportów i innych materiałów. Τον Αύγουστο και τον Σεπτέμβριο η EPALE είχε μια θεματική εστίαση στον ρόλο της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων στην κοινωνική ένταξη ευάλωτων ομάδων. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου, οι εθνικές ομάδες και η κοινότητα της EPALE δημοσίευσαν μια σειρά μελετών, άρθρων, εκθέσεων και άλλων πόρων σχετικά με το θέμα.

The distinction between people begins when they are young, depending on the gender, income, ethnic background, language or religions they speak, disability or other reasons. This distinction unfortunately prevents every individual from having equal opportunities for education and participation in social and cultural activities.

Teaching reflexivity to adult educators begins with first of all seeing their value judgments clearly, developing a vision, and raising awareness of the relationship between their concrete actions and behaviors and their beliefs and attitudes. Active participation and experiential activities enable students to reach a more comprehensive understanding of concepts from cognitive knowledge and to transition to those practical applications.

This study investigates teachers’ perceptions about the assistance provided to students with special educational needs, developmental disorders and high skills or giftedness at a state educational institution in Londrina (Brazil) which offers exclusively Youth and Adult Education modality. For this, we applied an instrument to collect data with 24 participants whose questions were about school inclusion in Youth and Adult Education. The results showed that most teachers did not receive specific training to support pupils with special educational needs.

Adult education matters. It matters at home, in work, and in the community. It matters to families, to the economy and to our health and wellbeing. Austerity policies are marginalising adult education. Its decline is indicative of the huge price this and future generations are set to pay for the politics of austerity. Yet it could be argued that we are living through times that demand more adult education and learning, not less.

Los centros de educación de adultos, CEPAS, van más allá de la labor educativa, son verdaderos lugares de inclusión social. La ubicación y contexto de estos centros atrae a un tipo de alumnado con diferentes necesidades, así como con unas características sociales y culturales específicas. Además, el perfil del alumno es muy variado, sin límite de edad por encima de los 18 años y con motivaciones muy diferentes para iniciar, continuar o ampliar sus estudios, convirtiendo a los CEPAS en entornos de aprendizaje multicultural e intergeneracional.

Vseslovenska planinska akcija Gluhi strežejo v planinskih kočah (GSPK) je lani v svoji prvi izvedbi doživela odličen odziv – tako med gluhimi, naglušnimi in osebami s polževim vsadkom kot med slišečimi. Letos se je začela že maja na Planini nad Vrhniko, glavnina dogodkov pa se je zvrstila od konca junija do sredine septembra.
