Viac ako dvanásť rokov práce so skutočným príbehom reálnych ľudí v našom okolí prinieslo veľa zaujímavých skúseností a štúdií. Na začiatku to bola najmä práca s  mládežou, kde sa príbeh stal najsilnejším nástrojom búrania stereotypov a  predsudkov u  mladých ľudí. Neskôr sa začal príbeh využívať ako nástroj prípravy budúcich dobrovoľníkov a pracovníkov s  mládežou. V  súčasnosti storytelling presahuje v rôznych formách už aj do formálneho vzdelávania.

Das Konzept: Neugestalten von Inhalten, die während und außerhalb des europäischen Projekts Erasmus+ NetMe-in erstellt wurden. In Form einer MOOC-Version, die kostenlos und sofort zu Hause abgerufen werden kann.

XXI Täiskasvanuhariduse foorum toimus 26. oktoobril 2017.a. Tallinnas ning fookuses olid erinevatest põlvkondadest õppijad.

Foorumil otsiti vastuseid aktuaalsetele haridusküsimustele ning prooviti leida lahendusi elukestva õppe ja täiskasvanuhariduse probleemidele. Ühtlasi arutati, kuidas saab koolitaja kiiresti arenevas ühiskonnas täita erinevatest põlvkondadest õppijate ootusi – milliseid metoodikaid selleks kasutada ning kuidas uusi lähenemisi rakendada. Foorumi peaesinejateks olid oma valdkonna tipud.

EPALE Eesti keskuse korraldatud III koolitajate mitte-konverents toimus 11. mail 2017 Tallinnas, konverentsi läbivaks teemaks oli kogukond. Mitte-konverentsi formaat võimaldab praktikutel omavahel kohtuda ja arutada neid kõnetavatel teemadel.

Mitte-konverentsi teemade sissejuhatuseks ja paremaks häälestuseks jagasid mõtteid sotsiaalantropoloog Aet Annist (Tartu Ülikool) ja andragoog ning haridustehnoloog Veronika Tuul (eu-LISA, Tallinna Ülikool), konverents jätkus aruteludega aktuaalsetel teemadel, mida toetasid vastava teema eksperdid.

Magistritöö eesmärk on uurida ja mõista, kuidas kirjeldavad vähenenud töövõimega täiskasvanud oma kogemusi õppimisest. Sisenedes tööturule ja õppima, kohtuvad vähenenud töövõimega täiskasvanud erinevate probleemidega, näiteks eelarvamused, teadmatus, müüdid ja hirmud (Puudega inimeste…, 2014). Mõnikord neid ka haletsetakse, kahjustades sellega nende minapilti ja positsiooni ühiskonnas (Kuusik, Davidjants, & Papp, 2016). Igaüks peab tundma, et ta on oodatud ja vajalik ühiskonnaliige just sellisena, nagu ta on (Aaviksoo, 2008).

Identifying Barriers to Learning – A Special Educational Needs Masterclass

Statistics in Europe suggest that at least 15.4% of the school population have a special educational need which is defined thus ‘A child or young person has Special Educational Needs (SEN) if he or she has learning difficulties or disabilities that make it harder for him or her to learn than most other children and young people of about the same age’. Barriers to learning range from Severe and Complex learning difficulties at the low end of the spectrum to Giftedness at the high end of the spectrum. Between these two extremes will be a range of more specific learning difficulties which include Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dyscalculia, ADD and ADHD; conditions nowadays common in our homes and classrooms. Many children and young people will have special educational needs of some kind during their education. Early years settings, schools, colleges and other organisations, as well as parents, can help most children and young people overcome their difficulties by increasing their awareness and understanding of the most common difficulties encountered and learning how to identify and support the remediation of these difficulties as early as possible. This course is aimed at all those professionals and paraprofessionals who wish to gain a greater understanding of the most common specific learning difficulties, how these can be identified, formally diagnosed and ultimately supported in a positive and effective way for all.

Kiusamine on püsivama kestusega, vägivaldne, sotsiaalsele keskkonnale negatiivselt mõjuv käitumis- ja suhtlemisviis, mis ilmneb gruppides ja kollektiivides (Yahn, 2012; Monks et al, 2009). Täiskasvanute vahelist kiusamist esineb töökohtadel (Fox & Cowan, 2015). Õppegrupisisest kiusamist on leitud akadeemilises keskkonnas ja kõrgkoolides (Sinkkonen, Puhakka & Meriläinen, 2014). Kiusamine kui sotsiaalne ilming ja suhtlemise osa on õpitud käitumine ja muutub ka õppimise probleemiks.
