Contrastare le discriminazioni multiple cui sono spesso soggette le persone che sommano alla disabilità ulteriori fattori di rischio, quali l’età, il genere, la cittadinanza, l’orientamento sessuale, diffondendo la cultura dell’inclusione e delle pari opportunità: questo l’obiettivo del progetto della Federeazione Italiana per il Superamento dell'Handicap “Disabilità: la discriminazione non si somma, si moltiplica – Azioni e strumenti innovativi per riconoscere e contrastare le discriminazioni multiple”, che il 15 dicembre presenterà i risultati ottenuti.
Improving the resilience of citizens, companies and public, private and non-governmental organisations is crucial as the European Union, EU Neighbourhood region and Central Asia countries brace for a new surge in COVID-19 infections and growing restrictions. The socio-economic impact of the health crisis is currently deepening and will stretch into 2021. The education and employment policy makers and stakeholders are posed with a double challenge – manage the current effects of the crisis and explore new sets of policies, programmes and delivery mechanisms; to make sure they fit the new socio-economic paradigm in post-COVID-19 times as digitalisation and sectoral transformations deeply change the demand for skills, accelerate labour market transitions and require robust social protection mechanisms for wider categories of people.

Die Ausgangsbeschränkung hat die praktischen Modalitäten der Akteure der digitalen Mediation beschleunigt, indem sie bisher umstrittene Einrichtungen bestätigt hat. Von diesen erscheinen uns 3 signifikant: Lösungen, die so nah wie möglich an den Bürgern und Bürgerinnen sind, eine breite Anerkennung von Kompetenzen und Ressourcen und die Bedingungen für die Massifizierung der Nutzung.

It is not uncommon for aging to be seen today as a crisis and as a deficiency, although in the study of aging the so-called deficiency theories are considered overcome. Aging is manifested not only in losses but also in gains. Third-age people are becoming more aware that they are finally having time for themselves and meeting their needs and interests. One of them is certainly the need for education. In this paper, we will just deal with the education of third age persons in the function of their development and self-realization of personality.

Rad propituje mogućnosti obrazovanja osoba treće životne dobi u institucionalnom kontekstu. Imajući na umu da model Sveučilišta za treću životnu dob sve više dobiva na važnosti, iznose se rezultati provedenog istraživanja koji je imao za cilj ispitati ulogu Sveučilišta za treću životnu dob u Rijeci kao jednog od institucijskog modela cjeloživotnog obrazovanja za osobe treće životne dobi.

Istraživanje fenomena nasilja maloljetne djece nad roditeljima je socijalno, psihološko-pedagoški i andragoško aspektirano suočavanje s nekim izazovima obiteljskih odnosa koji još uvijek u društvu predstavljaju tabu temu. Na temelju rezultata istraživanja navedenog problema koje se u radu navodi u tijeku je kreiranje programa podrške osnaživanja obitelji i cjeloživotnog obrazovanju kao važne pretpostavke prevencije asocijalnih ponašanja i doprinosa boljoj kvaliteti života važnog strateškog cilja u razvitku Europe.

2020 was definitely the year to explore the links between adult learning and health and wellbeing, highlighted by our experience of COVID-19. The articles in the Learn Well Live Well: Adult Learning and Health and Wellbeing report (to be published by the end of 2020) cover health literacy, physical wellbeing, mental health and resilience, older people, workplace wellbeing and the role of learning cities. These are illustrated by 16 local case studies, grounding the theory and research in practice. The report was prepared by the Northern Ireland Impact Forum on Adult Learning and Belfast Learning City as part of the UK EAAL Programme, with an Introduction from UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning.

Ao longo de dois anos letivos (2014/2015 e 2015/2016), investigadores, professores, alunos e colaboradores não docentes da Universidade de Évora desenvolveram a sua atividade académica normal, acrescentando uma nova preocupação a todas as restantes: como transformar o resultado do seu trabalho numa oportunidade de aprendizagem para pessoas que, normalmente, não frequentam a instituição, não se sentando nas salas de aula, não participando nas aulas laboratoriais e não assistindo às conferências.

The intersection of disability and aging often presents obstacles and discomfort for older people with disabilities keen to access mainstream opportunities for social participation. Besides individual situations and preferences – disability-based or not – environmental and social factors may limit full access to participation for older people with disabilities. Although ageist and ableist trends of contemporary ideas of aging have been documented, few studies have examined how those discourses are enacted in the field.

In December 2020 the COMENSI project comes to a closure. Community Engagement for Social Inclusion is an EU funded Erasmus+ project aimed at developing more effective methodologies of inclusion and activation of citizens at risk of exclusion. COMENSI developed and tested accessible tools and methods for communication, networking and organising to improve the capacity of citizens to engage in projects and social initiatives.
The project developed three main outputs during its duration:
- a methodological toolkit for the intervention in disadvantaged neighbourhoods;
