2015 m. pavasarį įvyko projekto „Specialistų, dirbančių nuteistųjų profesinio mokymo srityje, kvalifikacijos tobulinimas” dalyvių mokomasis vizitas Italijoje. Projektą įgyvendina Panevėžio pataisos namai kartu su partnerių institucijomis – VšĮ Panevėžio profesinio rengimo centru, VšĮ Panevėžio darbo rinkos mokymo centru ir Panevėžio suaugusiųjų mokymo centru.

En 2013, le nombre de personnes en situation de fuite a grimpé à 51,2 millions, atteignant un sommet encore jamais vu depuis la deuxième guerre mondiale.(1) Au mois de juin 2015, ce nombre avait encore augmenté à tout juste 60 millions : rien qu'en Allemagne, 142 000 demandes d'asile ont été déposées au cours du premier semestre.(2) Il s'agit en majorité de personnes jeunes dont les motifs de fuite et les situations de vie sont très divers.

In 2013, the number of refugees rose to 51.2 million – this is the highest number since World War II. (1) In the following years until June 2015, this figure increased further to nearly 60 million refugees; during the first half of 2015, 142,000 asylum applications were submitted in Germany alone. (2) The refugees are usually young people with very different situations in life and reasons for having fled their native country. Yet they all suffer from frequently facing greater obstacles in accessing education.

The Wales Co-operative Centre stands for strengthening communities, tackling poverty and promoting inclusion. They do this by implementing co-operative solutions to problems of exclusion.

They believe that digital exclusion continues to have a profound negative impact on Wales, affecting particularly people in our poorest communities. With planned welfare reforms, the impact of digital exclusion on individuals will become greater. They therefore suggest that there is a continuing need for a dedicated digital inclusion programme in Wales.

Letos bodo organizatorji Festivala za tretje življenjsko obdobje poskrbeli že za njegovo petnajsto izvedbo. Tako kot vsako leto bo tudi tokrat v Cankarjevem domu v Ljubljani, in sicer med 29. septembrom in 1. oktobrom. Vabljeni, da se udeležita katerega izmed izobraževalnih dogodkov in obiščete stojnice, ki se bodo predstavile.

Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über das Projekt „Gesundheitsförderung am 2. Arbeitsmarkt“, das im Zeitraum 2012-2014 von ISOP (Innovative Sozialprojekte) in Graz durchgeführt wurde. Ziel des Projektes war das Einbinden der Themen Gesundheit und Gesundheitsförderung in den Arbeitsalltag auf möglichst niederschwelliger Basis.

Vankilaopetuspäivät 2015 järjestetään Tampereella 7.–8.10.2015. Päivät kokoavat toimijat yhteen vaihtamaan ajatuksia ja kokemuksia opetus- ja rikosseuraamusalan ajankohtaisista asioista. Teemoja ovat oppiminen, oppimisympäristöt, hanketyö, arviointi ja tutkimus, lainsäädäntö ja kehitysnäkymät, kumppanuudet sekä työhyvinvointi. Päiviin sisältyy esittelytori, jonne olette tervetulleita esittelemään toimintaanne.


A series of Open Educational Resources are available to learners of Norwegian as a second language. Some are new, some have recently been upgraded. CALST, LearnNow and Duolingo are training programs available for anyone who wants to learn Norwegian. Training centers can use the programs as part of, or in addition to their Norwegian courses.

You will find an outline of the research methods and findings as well as recommendations for successful second chance education 

Catherine Byrne is a Maths tutor with the City of Dublin Education Service to Prisons. She is currently studying for a PhD in Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in maths education in prisons. Here she discusses a recent initiative within one Dublin prison and the benefits of returning to study maths for prisoners.

Studiul EEPO privind perfecționarea șomerilor adulți: Organizarea, profilarea și direcționarea ofertei de formare a fost publicată în luna iunie 2015.

Acest studiu prezintă o analiză în profunzime a ofertei de programe de formare finanțate în statele membre cu scopul de creștere a calificării șomerilor adulți (25-64), cu un nivel scăzut de calificare sau competențe de bază neadecvate.

I befolkningen är 19 procent äldre än 65 år men i studiecirklarna är det 36 procent. De senaste 20 åren har andelen cirkeldeltagare i ålderskategorin 65+ ökat kontinuerligt.  Vilken betydelse har det för äldre att delta i studiecirklar?

This report looks at six very different groups undertaking literacy work with adults. The work of the groups and their facilitators ranges from those using a cultural event to advance literacy learning and those looking closer at learning to learn as part of literacy. The six case studies presented in this report highlight literacy and numeracy practice as it happens on the ground. Each case study illustrates how the individual programmes are providing a range of courses to meet the varying and specific needs of the students attending.

Adults learn best when they enjoy the process. Learning provides opportunities for new social relationships. Adults and young people often find that their learning benefits from the chance to relax informally with other students and tutors. In addition, interaction in a learning group contributes to the learning process, and to the development of both the individual students and the organisation. Here we see 5 principles that can aid the adult learning process

EEPO’s Review on Upskilling Unemployed Adults: The Organisation, Profiling and Targeting of Training Provision was published in June 2015.
The publication was accompanied with 33 individual country articles (EU-28 plus Iceland, Norway, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey).
