Çiftlikköy is a district municipality of Yalova. Yalova is a city in Turkey with a 240,000 population. The distance between Çiftlikköy and Yalova is only 5kms. With its easy access to the city, Çiftlikköy is one of the most active and attractive districts of Yalova. Istanbul is 1 hour away from Yalova. You can get to Istanbul by usıng the ferry or the highway. The population of Çiftlikköy is 41882 and it's located in the south of the Marmara Sea, therefore, has an amazing beach and beautiful sea views. The history of Çiftlikköy is quite old and its first name in the old days was Pylai. And there are Lots of ruins belonging to the Hellenistic Age and Byzantine Age were found in the region. Besides Çiftlikköy is a place where Constantine the Great‘s mother’s Helena was born and Helanapolis named after Helena. There is a Church ruins came from Helanapolis in the region. Çiftlikköy has 1 town, 1 subdistrict and 9 villages.
We would like to attend Erasmus+ Projects as a partner in the field of youth and culture. We have The Culture Centre in our district which is managed by Çiftlikköy Municipality. The Culture Centre opens courses for adults (especially for women) and youth also have volleyball and basketball team. The Çiftlikköy Women Volleyball team is in league 2 at the moment.
