Pistes-Solidaires is an association that develops its projects and actions according to UNESCO's 4 pillars of education: learn to know, learn to be, learn to do, learn to live together and with the others. We aim at providing people /young people with learning experiences open to the world, in order to develop their social skills, to facilitate living together and to learn to be. Our approach is fully based on non-formal education, mostly on experiential learning.
We are divided in three departments:
- European mobility (European Voluntary Service, European Solidarity Corps, European and World Civic Service, Youth Exchanges) to give young people learning/work experience abroad.
- European Cooperation (Grundtvig, Youth in Action, Erasmus Plus) to enrich our work and the one of the local organizations with ideas, know-how that are developed within international consortia.
- Europe Direct Information Centre to inform, to advise, to understand, to know about the European Union, the countries that make it up, its functioning, its importance and its impact on our lives.
