Local Community Development Foundation Stip is nonprofit, nongovernmental organization founded in December 2006. LCDF – Stip is legal successor of NGO Support Centre Stip (2001 – 2006). The Foundation has 5 full time employed and 20 volunteers. The LCDF is active in the following areas: Decentralization, Inter-ethnic relations, Participative democracy, Good governance Philanthropy promotion, Lobbing and Advocacy, Transparency and Accountability. Main target groups are: citizens, CSOs, local governments, public institutions, business sector, youth and media. Within the programs of LCDF there are curricula developed for capacity building of the target groups, such as: Lobbying and Advocacy, Strategic planning, Soft skills for unemployed, Vocational trainings, Participation in public policy making, Decentralization, Anti-discrimination, PR, Networking, etc. LCDF has total of 5 trainers in different above mentioned topics. The LCDF staff is composed of young creative people that are capable and experienced in working with a larger group of people all of which are nationally certified in teaching debate, public speaking, law etc. The LCDF trainers and volunteers are experienced workers working with groups of high school and university students as well as young people from vulnerable groups. LCDF's beneficiaries include representatives of CSO, long term unemployed and public servants.
