In this mobility project the Industrial-Vocational School Virovitica has complemented practical training of students who are educated for the occupations of the heating and air conditioning installer and the carpenter. The students have acquired new knowledge and professional skills in the subjects of Technology of Heating and Air Conditioning and the Elements of Pipe Installation for heating and air conditioning installers as well as Drawing with Constructions for carpenters.  With these new skills students will be more competent for new challenges at work and in life.
For this mobility the following students were selected:
 - 10 heating and air conditioning installers
 - 8 carpenters
A total of 18 pupils Were sent to vocational training at the Czech school Secondary Technical School in Prague, the Czech Republic.

The overall goal of the project was strengthening of the professional competences of students in their area of education while applying and supplementing practical knowledge of their profession, and gaining new experiences by working in a foreign country with the application of EU standards.
Specific goals that have been achieved refer to the quality of practical work of students according to the curriculum of vocational subjects, to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit and encouragement of motivation for further learning. Further goals were the development of language competences and professional terminology for their field of education, successful overcoming of intercultural differences and developing their sense of belonging to EU citizenship.

The students have significantly improved their professional knowledge and skills. Czech teachers and artisans were very professional and of great help, and that is why the students successfully completed all the tasks envisaged in the project. Students have gained experience of working abroad. They were introduced to the way of educating for their occupations in the Czech Republic, met new friends and saw different aspects of the Czech culture. There was an overcoming impression that the quality of vocational education in the Czech Republic was somewhat higher. More money is invested in the equipment of school workshops and practicums, so the quality of practical teaching is better than in Croatia. Prague, with a population of over 2 million, offers great opportunities of a good quality practical training for students in companies and craft workshops. The heating and air conditioning installers were carrying out their practical training in several workshops of partner schools or companies dealing with heating and air conditioning installations. Together with the mentoring teachers from the partner and parent school, there were also installer artisans from partner schools and companies involved in central heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations. In companies, students attended lectures and presentations on equipment and product assortment. Students of carpentry did their practical work in the wood workshop of the partner school.
They made a table and models for the famous Czech game "Čamburina". Because of the complexity of the construction they worked in a group of six students together with the students of the partner school. There were three groups, so three "Čamburine" pieces were made of the same dimensions with a difference in a few woodwork details which the students had suggested by brainstorming.  They used a large number of different tools and machines in the process. The practical training went well and it was encouraging for all the participants. That is why we expect that the satisfaction of the participants and a good dissemination of the results will improve the entry into these craft professions in our school in the coming years.

The project team members presented the objectives and activities of the project to all the teachers, a successful discussion on the quality of implementation was carried out and immediately future projects were starting to be developed. At regional meetings of expert councils, the results of the project were presented, as well as in the local newspapers and on the radio. Our vocational teachers have gained new experiences, which improve the quality of teaching of students and the quality of work in school. New experience has been gained in the implementation of EU projects. That is how we follow EU market requirements and adjust our developmental plans to the EU education strategy.
