If you are interested in planning some activities for Adult Learners’ Week you have until 28 February 2020 to apply for the Innovation Grant 2020!
It’s your chance to promote what you do, test new ways of working, launch new activity, reach new audiences, have fun and bang the drum for adult & family learning.
We are looking for activities which are creative, innovative and can reach new audiences, particularly those adults who have not engaged in learning for some time and have the potential to gain media interest.
The Innovation Grant is available to organisations working in Wales who wish to deliver outreach activities or events during Adult Learners’ Week and throughout the month of June. Activities could be used to:
- Promote participation in learning
- Increase access to information, advice, and guidance
- Facilitate have-a-go or bite-size taster sessions
Adult Learners’ Week 2020 will take place from June 22-28 and is the largest adult learning campaign in Wales. It is coordinated by Learning and Work Institute Wales (L&W) in partnership with the Welsh Government and the European Social Fund and other partners. The campaign aims to inspire and encourage thousands of adults each year to continue education and skills development in a wide variety of forms and helping to raise awareness of the value of adult learning.
